“75th Anniversay of Telecommunictions” Stamp set issued on November 2nd 1971.The purpose of this stamp (which is one of 5 in the set) was to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of Telecommunications in Ethiopia, which was started by Emperor Menelik II to develop and improve Telecommunications in the Empire. The specific image is of His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie I speaking on the radio which linked all of the Empire in 1955.
